Mann Mechanical Company, Inc. was founded in 1969 by my father-in-law, Mr. Bill Mann. Bill was a mechanical engineer with a P.E., for which he utilized his education and experience within the industrial markets in the early years of the company’s existence. Bill’s son, my husband, Mr. Marty Mann, was the second generation, starting work there in 1980 and eventually became CEO & President when his dad retired in the late 1990’s. Marty expanded the company’s market ventures to include Research Laboratories, Healthcare, Mission Critical (Data Centers), Higher Education and others for which we continue to excel in today. Bill and Marty were wonderful leaders and mentors and deeply valued their employees. In 2015, Marty had invited four key employees to become shareholders, with a plan to add more. This was his eventual exit plan. After his untimely death from colon cancer in 2017, I inherited the CEO and Chairman of the Board positions as majority shareholder. Marty mentored a strong leadership team who deeply shared my vision, and collectively we continue to move forward. Utilizing my leadership and administration experience, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility to take care of our employees, we have built a team that is equipped to provide excellence to our customers. I am grateful to God for the mentors and staff who have supported me in this journey. It has been the most rewarding life experience to work alongside such a loyal group of leaders and skilled employees. In 2022, after undergoing a lengthy review process, we became certified as a “Woman-owned Business” by WBENC.

We are a specialty contractor focusing on mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, process and specialized piping systems. While we have performed work across the US, our projects are predominantly within the metro Atlanta area and the state of Georgia. We have obtained national recognition for our expertise in high-tech piping systems within the industries we serve. Beyond construction, we also have a 24/7 service department exceeding the needs of our customers. Some of the markets we serve include Higher Education, Healthcare, Laboratories, Data Centers, Industrial, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Aviation & Fuel, and the Semi-Conductor industries.

Mann Mechanical has 142,000 sq. ft. under roof of fabrication shops, warehouse and office facilities in the Decatur area. In 2022 we completed construction of an IOS certified cleanroom built for fabricating specialized piping systems. Our pipefitters and plumbers in the field are skilled members of the UA for Plumbers, Pipefitters, & HVAC Technicians.
